Encryo has the patent of SCMR( Single Cycle Mixed Refrigerant) technology. The mixed refrigerant used in this process is methane, ethane, propane, pentane and nitrogen. The composition of this mixed refrigerant can be chosen to match its boiling curve with the cooling curve of the natural gas. Due to capacity that can be handled at time by this process, the curves are relatively easy to match thereby increasing its efficiency and simplify operation.

Encryo has specialized in SCMR technology over 20 years and delivery 50+ SCMR process unit for LNG project which the capacity is from 5 to 200 MMSCFD. Today these plants are recognized worldwide as excellent SCMR technology reference projects.
